Aorus X670E motherboard with latest Bios. (F13D). Not overclocked.
When playing any media content, the sound is punctuated with a loud Buzzing noise at about 5 second intervals.
After a lot of frustrating testing (checking all software is up to date etc), I've discovered that this problem occurs when any manual Fan speed profile is selected in either the BIOS or using GCC.
The only way to get normal sound is to set the fans to one of the predefined profiles.
Is this a BIOS issue?

This is device enumeration, not an error.

Try deleting the USB ports and hub from device manager.  Then restart.  You can also try updating your chipset drivers.

Hi

I have Gigabyte motherboard Z390 UD V2, the only happening when trying to power up pc is Case fans spinning 1 lap.
after about 30 secs rgb memory sticks light up. Nothing more happens.
I have tried different memory, different casing. No change.
Havent change cpu or Psu though. But cpu pins look ok.

Any idea what can be wrong here?

Best regards
Hakan

Greetings,
Some questions for you.

Please provide your full system specs, including disks, PSU, etc.  What's installed, attached and where, etc.

What CPU are you using (specifically)?
What Memory (Brand, model, spec)? you said you tried more than one kind??
What BIOS rev are you running?

Have you tried Clearing the CMOS [CLR_CMOS]?
Have you seen any error LEDs? (Lower right corner) CPU, VGA, DRAM, BOOT

"1 lap"???  What does this mean exactly?

Greetings,
Nothing you need to be afraid of.

Start here and review the manual starting on page 35:
https://download1.gigabyte.com/Files/Manual/mb_manual_ga-x58a-ud3r_v2.0_e.pdf?v=8184d39f11461050ec0269d2348edcc7

QFLASH is preferred.

You will need a USB stick formatted FAT32

Copy just the extracted BIOS to the root of the USB stick.

Insert this to a USB port.

Restart the computer and start tapping the <End> key

Tap , pause, Tap, Pause

Until you see the BIOS Update QFLASH Menu.  Its self explanatory from there.  You'll see the BIOS revision you have and will be given the option to upgrade.  It will ask where it can find the upgrade file.  Point it to the USB Stick.  It takes about 2 min.  When the system re-starts, enter BIOS and ensure, date, time  and preferred settings are correct.

Thanx for your help. I'm trying to learn how to update the bios as per your suggestion. I never done it before, so I'm a little anxious since I understand that if it's not done right it may cause quite a big problem.

Thanx. the ram modules are install exactly as described.
The cpu is I7 950 @3.07GHz. from what I've found through this link - https://www.techpowerup.com/cpu-specs/core-i7-950.c644,
I guess that it's a Bloomfield, but I'm not sure.
The bios rev is FB.

Yes.  Bloomfield.

BIOS FF is the minimum required for i7 950 support.

Try flashing to FH and restest.

Start by resetting BIOS to defaults.  Save and restart.  Then flash to "FH"
