Title: Compability issues PCI 3.0 TO PCI 2.0
Post by: kos21 on January 11, 2018, 05:24:15 pm

Hello
I have a Gigabyte ga-ex58ud4p motherboard and I want to buy a Gigabyte GeForce Gtx 1060 g1 gaming 3g or Gigabyte GeForceĀ® GTX 1050 G1 Gaming 2G or Gigabyte GeForceĀ® GTX 1050 Ti G1 Gaming 4G .
I would like to ask you if the graphic card have compatibility issues or performance issues with the motherboard(because this motherboard is an old model with PCIe 2.0 x16 and the graphic card is a new model with PCIe 3.0 x16)
Thank you

It should be backward Compatible. I have a  Ga-EX58-UD5 and I just tested with a 1050 ti. No problem with it. It is a Asus 1050 ti 4gb card. I'm running windows 10 on it.
