Title: 3X power USB ports on GA-X58A-UD5 Rev 2
Post by: alokep on January 19, 2013, 01:36:17 am
I was getting lockups when attaching my iPhone or ipad to the USB ports when I had the High power mode and on/of charge enabled on my GA-X58A-UD5.  These lockups would leave no entries in Win 7 Pro 64 bit event logs and would require power cycle to reboot the PC.

I have uninstalled the on/off charge and the problem seems to to have gone away.

Is this a known issue with this board?

Which version of this driver should I install?

The product page shows the latest version as B11.0110.1 at
http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3450#utility

Whereas the latest version is B12.1025.01 on this page
http://www.gigabyte.com/support-downloads/Utility.aspx?cg=2

Thanks.
