Title: EP45-Extreme
Post by: fadsarmy on October 08, 2009, 09:18:13 am
Where is the system fan control option in the bios? It's not there! How can I control the system fan speed? It says it's supported.

The inbuilt system fan control is designed to change fan speed dependant on temps. So the higher the temps the faster the fans spin – this is done all automatically. If you wanted to manually change fan speeds you’re going to have to get a fan controller of some description :)

Not an extreme board in every sense then. Asus, Foxconn and  Abit top end boards have precision fan control of all fans. I think this is where Gigabyte's weakness is.
