I just install 8gb RAM Kingston Hyper X 1600MHz Ram on my computer..then,im encounter a problem while watching movie using MPC/GOM it reboot for itself. I use all RAM slot (4 x 2gb). but when i use only (3x2gb) the problem doesn't exist.pls anybody can help me with these i am a newbie.
here is my pc spec:
CPU : Intel Core™ i7-2600 3.4GHZ
Motherboard : Gigabyte-Z68X-UD3-B3
RAM : 8GB KingstonHYPERX DDR3 1600MHZ
GPU : ASUS GTX560 Ti DirectCUII TOP
Monitor : Samsung Syncmaster SA350 22" LED
PSU : Cooler Master GX750W
Casing : Cooler Master 430 Elite Black Edition

Try new bios. or incrased voltage on Memory DDR

I hope this is not the same problem I had with my Motherboard (GA-Z68X-UD3R-B3) When I installed my ram chips , which are the same as yours it would only work on slots 1 & 3 not 2 & 4, if all slots are filled my computer keeps rebooting itself. i took it back to the shop I purchased it from, when they found out I installed the CPU they removed it & told me i had damaged pins in the CPU motherboards socket I informed them that was how I bought it from you.
they said I damaged it so warranty is void, no amount of explaining to them that i did not do this helped. Any way to cut long story short purchased a new board from a different company had them open up the box check the pins & install my CPU, now all 4 ram sockets work, running 8 GB.
Actually had this problem put on this site a week ago some one suggested it might be my CPU socket which it was. have noticed this problem on many sites since, was wondering if its a Gigabyte quality problem if so I hope i can get a refund on my old board $178 AUS.

It's fixable!........Magnifying glass, pin, and a steady hand with no Alcohol in it if just bent pins ;)

The pins are very tiny and fragile so a lot of care is needed when installing the CPU but having said that even a bent pin or two is normally easilly repairable with a bit of care and a good magnifying glass.
More than likely though it is just a case of you filling all the banks of memory and still trying to use the "automatic" setting in the BIOS to configure them. You will usually need to make all the settings and voltage yourself.

it means i need to go to bios ang setting the ram voltage?..tq in advance

Yes you will need to go into the BIOIS and set the timings and voltage for the meory. If you are lucky that will be all. If not there are some other settings that also might need to be altered slightly.
