Title: GA-MA785G-UD3H and nVidia 9800GTX clearance issues!
Post by: tattoeodkaos on August 30, 2009, 08:04:07 am
Well I currently have an ECS Mobo, and I just got myself a EVGA nVidia 9800GTX . I had to remove 2 of my sata connections because this card covered them!! I have found a great deal on a GIGABYTE  GA-MA785G-UD3H MoBO and would like to buy it.  I am wondering if anyone else has a 9800GTX graphics card running on the same mobo,  and if so does it cover anything up on the board, like the heatsink shown in the pictures? I just need to know that it will fit, that it wont interfere with any of the mobo functions!

Hi,

It was tested with nVidia reference design 9800GTX (sorry don't have EVGA one) and no problem, there is still some space between card and mb's chipset heatsink:
