Title: Cannot Upgrade RAM on GA-P55M-UD2
Post by: mantas on July 04, 2017, 10:08:16 pm
I have GA-P55M-UD2 along with i3 3.06 Ghz. OS is Windows 10 64 bit. Currently have 1 of the KVR1333 (Link Below), so running on a 2 GB RAM.

I bought a 1600 (link below) to upgrade the RAM to 8 GB. That made the computer stuck in a reboot-loop.

Bought another set of 2x4 GB RAM (Link below) with no change.

Do I need make any changes in BIOS settings to make this work ?
It should have worked with both the RAM as mentioned at Gygatbyte website.

I don't think either of these kits are on the QVL for the board.  Most appear to be 2/4GB.

Have you tried setting timings and voltage manually?  XMP may not be supported in this case.
