Title: GA-970A-D3 Linux Networking Issue
Post by: Raevyn on January 24, 2013, 07:51:40 am
Hello,

I just purchased this new Gigabyte board and I am unable to get the ethernet adapter to function properly. Its weird.. loopback to 127.0.0.1 works and it tries constantly to get an IP address, but it just cant.

And as a side note, all but two USB ports seem to work. Not sure what that is about but I thought if I can get the ethernet port to work I can run driver updates to see if that gets cleared up also.

Anyway, does anyone know how to remedy this? As of now I am looking at returning it as defective.

SOLUTION: in the Bios enable IOMMU in peripheral menu.
