Hey,
Just wondering if you can help me with a problem or have any advice.
My problem is that I do not have enough power on my USB ports to power my Asus Xtion Pro Live capture camera, though I am able to power my web camera. It works perfectly with my old computer and I tried using my old power supply with the new computer but no luck.
Windows Device Manager sees the device, but every time I plug it into the USB ports it says not enough power. I've tried unplugging all the USB ports including mouse and keyboard but still gives the same error.
I had to get another power supply which fixed a previous issue which was causing the computer randomly going into standby and sometime later booting up again without doing anything because my previous PSU wasn't Haswell Compatiable.
New Setup:
Windows 8 Pro 64 Bit
Core i5 4670K

750 Watt EVGA SuperNOVA PSU - New
Nvidia 660Ti
3 x 1.5TB HDDs
3 x 120GB SSDs
Old Setup:
Core i5 750
ASUS P7P55D-EVO

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.
I have tried all the USB ports Front and Back, and it still produces the same error.
Updated to the Beta BIOS F6g, same error.
Just received the USB Y Splitter cable this morning and it also gave me the same error.
At the moment the total bandwidth of the USB Chipset is 10% so there's 90% of the bandwidth not being used.

Update:
In the end had to RMA motherboard for faulty RAID chipset as the computer kept crashing when accessing the storage array (Strip).
The replacement motherboard had a faulty bios on arrival (PC wouldn't start properly and if it did couldn't detect hard drives for booting). Only 5% of the boots got me into BIOS, after flashing the BIOS it fixed the hard drive detection but still power up correctly (Switched on for a second then switched off).
In the end sent it back for refund for a different motherboard. I have closed this topic now.
