Post by: Clok-Tower on September 01, 2010, 04:48:49 am
hey new comer here, wasnt sure if already a post didnt want to dble post..

anyways a month or so ago now i got a new pc gaming machine.
i5 750 2.67ghz Quad Core
lancool tower case
gtx285
and im pretty sure i got the GA-P55A-UD3 could b wrong.
anyways the system is good. when playing BFBC2 with all graphics on high inc AA 16x. the screen blinks black from time to time.
i have read that the GPU overheats or something but it only happens for the one game, it doesnt happen with other games...\
i have contacted the manufacturer, just wanted to see if there was anything that i can do that wont cost me anything... ive tried updating drivers too with no good outcome, 1 thing i havent tried yet is take the card out of the tower case and just put it back in again. it was a 500$ card so i dont wanna F it up...

regards

Hi and welcome to the forum. It could be many things to be honest. If it is only the one game that it happens in then chances are it is a driver problem or the game needs patching. The game manufacturer's website is the place for this and the game forum if there is one. The other thing it could possible be is overheating. I don't know how efficient your cooling system is in your tower case but maybe it could be improved.
