Gigabyte G41M Combo rev 2.0
I have this mobo but I don't know if it has PCI-Express 2.0 ? Can you help me ? Because G41 chipset supports PCI-E 1.1 but some people say that the mobo has PCI-E 2.0

Yes the board does support 1.1 & 2.0 video cards.

First of all thank you for answering me and second does this mean that i can get the maximum of the video card.I mean there will be no decrease in the performance ?

I just put radeon hd 6670 gddr5 PCI-E 2.0 but gpu-z says taht the vidweo card is running at pci-e 1.1

Every where I read that this is 2.0 board. How are you running it? Do you have the on-board video always enabled or disabled?

I have onboard video I think it is disabled ebncause i am using radeon right now ... but i saw that the chipset that my mobo is using G41 is with pci-e 1.1 ... but aida says its 2.0 but i cant make it run on 2.0 :X

Cna sombody help my cpu is core 2 duo e4600 could it be the one who is playing this dirty trick to me and that's why pci-e 2.0 card works in pcie-e 1.1 mode. Please help

Please I need help I feel tricked....I read that this motherboard rev 2.0 has pci-e x16 2.0 but what I see is that it has 1.1 . THATS NOT FAIR.ALSO CHECKED THE G41 chipset and it has pci-e 1.1 not 2.0!!!!! I need explanation!!! I will deffinetely return that motherboard and probably will go to ASRock since Gigabyte deceive their clients!
