Here is a shot of Disk Manager and Intel RST overlay. All 4 drives show in Intel RST but only 2 of them show in Disk Manager. The other drive showing in Disk Manager is my External Seagate USB 3.0 back-up.

  Welcome 1foxracing .... if it's a more complex  problem .... follows Rolo42 request ....

But just in case the obvious has been missed ...........

Assuming these are non-system drives ....and it's all being newly configured

  Click start...

  Right click "Computer"...

  Click "Manager"...

 Click "Storage"...

 Click "Management"...

If you get in here and the drives are Not registered ..... it will give you a series of prompts including choosing a drive letter ("P", "K") ..... follow these to register the drives into the OS and reboot as requested ..... after the boot..... drives should appear under manager.

Just for reference for others, here's everything I've already suggested he try.  My last suggestion is the only way I've ever fixed this when I ran into similar issues.

Screen Shot of Computer Management showing again the drives are not visible but ARE showing with Intel RST. I guess I have to try the registry edit.

First disconnect all disks not used

Remove all unused devices with this ( RmHidDev.bat ) look if you have not protected devices

Problem solved thanks to Mushkin Sean over on their forum. I had to revert back to the stock W7 driver instead of the Intel driver. As soon as I switched it back all drives appeared and it is working great now.

Awesome to hear you sorted it out!   Now you can probably update back to the Intel driver and hopefully it will work properly this time

No way!  I haven't even had my mid-life crisis yet....soon though...very soon...

27" monitor here and had laser surgery...it's not me it's everybody else.  :P  :D

Intel driver...how odd.  I wonder if reinstalling (checking for newer version first) Intel RST would be fine.

Rolo .... Wifes trying to talk me into Laser eye burning ..... is it little bit improvement or big time improvement ?

Big time improvement.  My vision was -6.75 (can't see the big E on the eye chart unless I was 2 feet in front of it) and is 20/15 now.

I waited until I knew about a dozen or so people who had it and they all were thrilled they did it, as am I (wish I'd done it sooner than I had).

I opted for PRK, not LASIK (why have scarred corneas when you can grow new ones?).

Total laser time per eye was 30 seconds (on the long side); the whole procedure was...maybe 2 or 3 minutes.  The only part that was uncomfortable was the cold water rinse at the end (brain-freeze/ice cream headache).  The battery of eye tests months prior was more grueling than the procedure itself.  It really is no big deal (and I'm a real chicken-$@1T when it comes to medical/bodily harm stuff--too squeamish to wear contacts even).

A few days afterwards, I had to keep my eyes closed, padded; the pain wasn't too bad (numbing drops). A week later, you can see fine (wear shades, everything is brighter); I had halos for a few months afterwards but they vanished.  It all sounds far worse than it is.

I too had the operation done when I was in Bulgaria some years ago and I don't think my eyes had really stabilised to the point where they were no longer deteriorating. It was absolutely brilliant and as Rolo said no pain just a smell of burning as the laser did it's job. The only downside is that as I say my eyes have still gone downhill since and so not 100% now but still a lot better than they were even then. I guess I should have waited a few more years before having the procedure.

Thanks for that Rolo and DM ..... it might make it into the shopping trolley for my birthday ...... Don't know how it is for you Rolo in the US... but here they still want £400 per eye.....so for 2 eyes....and 3 min work .... that come in at £16,000 per/hr ....

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm........... I might have a go at doing it myself first ...  ::)

Better get a 5700dpi laser mouse then!

It costs ~$2K/eye here.

A couple of magnifying glasses and you're set!

(or it'll make that prism from Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon)

Yes that is unusual. I was looking at the price of SSDs and in the states there were some nice ones for around £75 for 128GB when we are paying about twice that for these particular ones.

A couple of magnifying glasses and you're set!

Now we're talking...some decent sounds!

BTW Rolo I like the way you managed to bring that into the Disk management title!  ;D

hehehe...funny thread.  I completely forgot what it was really about; is the issue resolved?

I was surprised at the price difference also.  Make sure you aren't looking at a gimmicky price that few people actually pay or a "budget" surgery.

Rolo.... More often then not, a fix is achieved and you don't hear Boo! ever again ...... 1FoxRacing might be just testing ....

on the other subject ..... the biggest in the UK  "Optical Express" do it for £395 per eye ......as for me and the DIY approach....

"That was the most Painful thing I've ever done in my life"    ;)

and Floyd is in my top 5 of all time best ever's....

The machine has been running great since I reverted back to the stock W7 drivers. Today I added 6 more Cougar fans.

Good news! It must be fairly draughty there now with all those fans going at once. I must get myself some of those Cougar fans to go with my black and orange build. Would finish it off nicely. What model are they ?

The 140mm fans are part # COUGAR CF-V14H Vortex Hydro-Dynamic-Bearing
120mm COUGAR CF-V12H Vortex Hydro-Dynamic-Bearing
The are both very quiet, the loudest fans in the system are the 2 stock 120mm LED Corsair units.
