I assembled an i7-4790K system with this motherboard and the temps recorded from the following popular applications:
Core Temp 0.99.8: 37/35/35/36
CPUID HWMonitor: 37/35/35/36
Do not agree with the CPU Temp displayed in the BIOS ... which is 74C.
I'm using the CPU cooler provided by Intel (no overclocking implemented).
Which is the more accurate ... and why the disparity?

when i get home i will check mine and post back i know hardware monitor says about the same for me except mine are 29, 31,31,29 and a package temp of 32. I haven't looked into bios to see what it shows in there.

Mine are both good in bios and hardware monitor.. I checked the gaming G1 and the Z97 SOC FORCE that are both really close.
Do you have the newest bios?
