As stated in the title , occasionaly the system hangs while loading windows and the fan stops spinning resulting in beeping for a fan error . After a few secs the fan starts spinning again kai booting continues normally. More rarely , it wont start spinning again giving a continuous beep while windows have loaded. I tried downgrading and upgrading the UEFI/BIOS to different versions and keep getting the same result as well updating the drivers. Also i searched but sadly cant find a reliable windows boot log with timestamps to debug the situation. Any ideas?

"And the fan stops". Which fan are you referring to, the CPU fan?
This board was released in 2017, can you provide its history please? New issue, running for years, now new problem. Worked until I updated the BIOS, or OS, etc?
Also please provide your board revision, BIOS revision, AMD chipset version and complete system specs.

It's the system fan and it's connected with a 3-pin to the board. There is one more powered with a molex that keeps spinning regardless. Also i'm aware it's not a pmw fan so i got the appropriate setting in the bios. CPU fan keeps spinning fine.

Specs :
Ryzen 3200g cpu
no external graphics card
Crucial 240gb ssd coupled with a 1tb WD hard drive
Be quiet pure power 11 300w
It worked fine for a few months , then at some point i got the situation with the fan. Windows update regurarly , also the apu drivers when they are available.
I suspected the UEFI fan settings . I tried switching profiles with no luck and now its set on manual with the temperature ramping from the lowest temperature in case it's too cold affecting the fan function. System fan voltage is set to depend on the chipset sensor in the UEFI.
I removed the fan control software from windows and now it's controlled only by the UEFI.
Temperature wise , the system runs smoothly and steady.

I'm using 3 pin fans everywhere except the CPU. I have SIV installed, but do not use SMART Fan, all fan control is done in BIOS. I find this to be the most reliable.
I think it was wise to uninstall any power management or fan related profiles from the OS, but I've seen lingering issues result when people create BIOS profiles and/or use SMART Fan to management fans (even after profiles are removed, or software is uninstalled).
If you are using any type of fan controller module, or are using any "Y" adapters (or molex) this too has been known to cause issues. Fans should be connected directly to a MB's fan header., no adapters for best results.
Note: the board calls for a 500watt PSU minimum (recommended). That's not to say it won't run on less, but 300w is pushing it.
Steps I might take:
(After confirming all fans are connected directly to the board)
-Reset BIOS to defaults, changing only what is needed for the system to boot - test the fan behavior
-If 2 similar fans are installed switch connections and see if the behavior follows, if so, replace the fan having issues
-Test with more powerful PSU
Things I wouldn't do:
-Continue updating my BIOS
-Your CPU requires F40, continuing to update just for the sake of being current, might not be best
In some cases BIOS updates can help and are indicated, but things can also get kludgy when you are running a BIOS intended for a newer CPU / chipset / FW and the CPU you have installed is one or more generations behind.(Just be mindful of this).
**One last thing. If it's possible to modify the RPM threshold in BIOS, this too might be an option for you.

Bumping this thread cause i found a solution. The 3-pin fans i tested were causing all this fuss , switching to a pwm fan seems to make everything smooth.
