I recently purchaed a gigabyte MA790X-UD4P motherboard and found out the PCI-E power adapter won't work with my case, a Rosewill TU-155 II 500. The case is a 6 pin PCI-E power adapter and the motherboard is an 8 pin PCI-E adapter. I bought a 6 to 8 pin adapter, but the connectors are keyed differently so I can't use it and decided to get a new case.
Any recommendations for a general use case? I'm looking to spend about $100.
Thanks.

hi,
Just got this one from ebuyer

You will have to buy a new psu though,
just check out what power adapters you need, most of them will have the required power connectors for you,
cheers

Are you talking about the case or the PSU? (power supply) That board should fit in any ATX capable case. Its your powersupply that has the 6 connector issue. and i believe you can get 2x molex (harddrive connectors) to 8 connector SLI power supply adaptors.
