Title: ga-z68x-ud7-b3 and areca arc-1220 compatibility

Hello all,

I have the ga-z68x-ud7-b3 motherboard and want to buy the areca arc-1220 sata raid controller,
will they work together?

Hi and welcome.

I really couldn't say for sure but there is no reason to think that they wouldn't. Do you have a specific reason for asking ?

 Please note this is Sata II compliant.....not Sata III so you will need to research Max through-put per channel

 Cool.....just so you know Sata III controller cards will be backwards compatible and give you higher bandwidth when Raided ... good future proofing as well...........but I'm sure it comes down to price as well.........good luck and enjoy!
