Title: GIGABYTE BOX ART? (3D render woman?)
Post by: tom668 on June 12, 2010, 09:21:44 am
Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, I collect 3D renders - does anyone know if there is a high quality render of this box available anywhere? (original picture if possible - not at an angle)?

Or if not, if there is a good scan anywhere? I tried google, got nothing good :(

Actually, that is not a bad idea...

runn3R: if you read this, maybe run it up the flagpole see if GA HQ salutes hehe :)

Would be nice to have "box art" images available in high definition(s), even with a logo or watermark, something suitable for desktop wallpaper.

I couldn't find that exact render in the wallpapers, but, there was a similar (older version) one where she is wearing an eye piece and the face/render is slightly different.

I wonder if Gigabyte will update their wallpapers page. Do they still update it?

Oh come on, that stuff is ultra lame.

Something decent for desktop wallpaper use I was wanting, basically all that kind of thing, but a sensibly sized GA logo discretely in a corner, not some bloody massive advert :)

We like GA sure, but we don't the damn thing logo and suchlike overwhelming all else :)

Sorry venganza it's just that you asked for "box art" and that is what they had on the site. ;)

I know, it would just be nice to have it all "clean" with perhaps just a small tasteful logo :)

Well of course their pictures are copyrighted material, but if they want to offer them for download for our Desktop edification, then they should be wise enough to realise no one will bother if we have to put up with butt-ugly, overly large logos plastered all over.

A nice tastefully small GA logo in the bottom-right (semi transparent hehe) would be nice :)

Hey, maybe they could actually pay us for advertising their products too ;D But I do agree with your sentiment and it would be nice to have access to some of the great artwork that has been produced without the spoilers.

runn3R mate hi :)

Gigabyte should offer a sample of images like that from their collection done as wallpapers for desktops, perhaps just like that, with a nice white background nothing more (then we can colour or change backdrop as we like with little fuss.

Perhaps a nice discreet Gigabyte logo bottom-right hand side etc.

I always use very dark background for my desktop, but an image like the one you posted, I could easily adapt by changing the background, perhaps blending it with a nice dark battle scene or similar.

Sizes like 1920 1200 and down would be great :)

Would be a nice touch and a great addition to GA downloads from gigabyte.com, so maybe run it past HQ...

If pissy Razer can have backgrounds for download, I am sure GA can :)

* Oh I am raging at Razer today, bloody mice! Drivers are utterly rubbish and I feel like throwing my lachsis against a wall, stupid thing has a mind of its own and the damn cursor has taken to moving all by itself at random :)

Ah, the ghost in the machine :o

All joking apart, it can be a right pain in the *ss though. I have a replacement keyboard from Logitech(the MK300) it was supposed to replace my duff Laser LX710 but it is cheap and nasty. I spend so much time accidentally hitting the capslock and having to retype or such that I am at a point of chucking it out and apying for something more upmarket again. OK rant over for now!

Not just Razer, I have been having real issues with my Wacom Graphics Tablet. I think it must be something to do with Windows 7 64 bit as I don't have these problems on other platforms.

I think any more of these great graphical pictures would be well received runn3R. It wouldn't do Gigabyte any harm also as a bit of free advertising ;)
