i have a m704 umpc and ive just got hold of the gps unit made by gigabyte to suit,the prolem im having is no software picks up the gps signal, the unit came with gpd gate software but thats it,if anyone has one these units up and running i would much apriciate there setup info............all the best

The only suggestion I can make is that you do realise that you have to be outside to pick up the signal don't you?

thanks for the help,yes i tried that but no luck, gps gate reports: RUNNING OK and below that UNKNOWN DATA IS COMING IN

Purely a stab in the dark here as I haven't even seen one of these models. Have you got to initialise the GPS first? Like a sort of setup.

Have you set the GPS up in Windows yet?

and installed the antenna?

when you say setup in windows,ive installed the driver and put on gps gate software also ive put autoroute 2010 to see if it picks up the gps but no luck so far.....thanks for yor help :)

Keep playing around with it and I am sure you will get there in the end. Probably something stupidly simple, it usually is.

thanks 1 DAY im still having problems....do you have one of these gps units if so what software do you use :-\
