Title: thin itx sata power max current
Post by: duniek on September 20, 2014, 03:45:45 pm
hello.
I have H81TN and H77TN motberboards and wondering what is max current A for sata power connector

I can't any specs or pdf about it.

why i am asking?

in first - before I was using picopsu + 4x hdd - works fine but after a year of using (everyday power on - not 24/7) 12V line trays in pico pcb was a litte burned (this happens bcoz while 4x hdd start - all of them takes about 6-7A)

second  - i plug gtx750 to this mobo with riser which was powered by external psu
cards after undervoltage takes about 5-6A max, so if sata connector in specs will be 6A for example then i can power a riser with sata connector

I dont want burn out my mobo  thats why good to know a specs of sata power connector
thanks
