new here guys so first thing is to say 'hi' to everyone. i'm not very good with computers so please be gentle with me.
i have just got a new computer built around a Gigabtye GA-Z170X Gaming3 Motherboard. i must have misread some info and i thought it came with more USB 3.0 connections than it actually did. i want to increase that number by 4 if possible, or at least 2 if not. i have bought 2 extra internal adaptor cables that fit into the back of the tower, each with 2 x connections on them. my question is where do i connect the plugs on the mobo? i looked at a diagram of the board but the info is terribly poor on what is what, so before i try to do something and break it, could someone advise me, please?
many TIA

many tnx, dmdilks, for the reply and the info. at least now i can see which sockets to use.
may i also ask, i read where a pci card? can be used instead of the adapters. is that correct? which slot would that card fit into? would it be a better/worse option than the adapters i already have?
many TIA again

Here is a link to show what card to get They would fit into any PCI-E Express slot. Like the PCIEX1_1 or PCIEX1_2 or PCIEX1_3
