with the bargain sale of Christiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid, it made me think, if I had 80 big one's would I buy Ronaldo or use that money for large house in the country, sports car, the best holiday ever and an aupair (or two)?
so the question is, if you had £80,000,000 what would you do with it?

Put the money in a high interest account and live off the interest ;)

Boob Job for the Missus ? .... Errrm ...new Missus hahaha (you know I'm only joking if your reading this darling :-* )
Hmmmm I'd move to Monaco, get a yacht (big enough to live in just incase I run out of money :) ), car - Lamborghini Murcielago ( Ferraris are common as mondeos over there), and maybe buy a club or cafe/bar or something?
Give my mam and two sisters a mil each for starters, and prob do the same for some close friends.
Oh... I nearly forgot, I'd buy Pottypete an XL Gigabyte anorak, and Elemental Dragon a specially made Small to Medium sized one ;D

Hi,
Re Boob Job for the Missus ? .... Errrm ...new Missus hahaha (you know I'm only joking if your reading this darling Kiss )
No I really meant 2 new mobo's not boobo's :o
Really could have two of these as well,. http://www.giga-byte.co.uk/Products/Chassis/Products_Spec.aspx?ClassValue=Chassis&ProductID=3110&ProductName=MIB%20T5142 Gold Plated ::)
I like your way of thinking flux, with my 80 mill all forum members could have a gold named tailored Gigabyte anorak ;D
-
boob job? Can you add pics so we can discuss further??
LOL!!

Daw thankyou! I got an XL lol :P
If I had that money I'd rid the world of Asus! :D (they finally accept I'm not taking their cack of an excuse to replace my 5th faulty 4870X2 so I'm getting a GTX295 off them - although it's a marketing sample so 2nd hand....)
I'd do a custom Gigabyte case with lots of Gigabyte gear and watercool it all!
Buy a nice little house for me and my mister to live in and live off the interest so I could spend all day overclocking and playing COD4 :D

I'm with oggmonster on this. High interest account and live off the interest. Doesn't sound exciting until you you realise how MUCH interest you would be earining. 10% shouldn't be too hard to negociate, even in the current economic climate, and that would mean an income of £8m a year. Even after tax that's still going to be the sort of money your average Hollywood star gets paid for a film. Difference is they get it once, you get it EVERY YEAR! Now, with an annual post tax income in seven figures you could afford to spend up a little on a few cars, a big house. You know, those bits and pieces that the big spenders who don't invest first would sooner or later end up having to give up because they ran out of money.

Lotsa money will make you go insane, ;)
I got enough trouble looking after the pound in my pocket, without worrying about 80 mil :'(

I defo have no current problems spending.
I know they say money doesn't buy happiness, but I would like to think that one over on my private island in the Maldives sipping a cocktail.
