I have a new build using GA-H97-HD3 using on board graphics with i7-4790. When I connected monitor to DVI I get no output on screen. I had to connect to HDMI on TV to get up and running. After windows 7 install in graphics control panel only hdmi display is available, even with DVI still connected. The monitor with same cable works perfectly on another pc.
Any ideas on what may be wrong here?

Greetings,
Try this, Under BIOS Features > Fast Boot [Enabled] then VGA Support [Auto].
Now move to Peripherals > Initial Display Output > IGFX [Enabled]
F10 to save and exit. Unplug your HDMI connection and re-test DVI.

Thanks shadowsports, have tried that and still not working. VGA d-sub does work, so it is just the DVI connection that does not work.

Are you using an adapter? Or do you have the correct DVI-D cable?

Thanks, it was the cable. Tried another, they look exactly the same, but new one is working.
