Hi all,
I can't access BIOS when NTFS HDD or SSD is plugged in. Bios version is F12 and board is rev1.0.
I am another user (among countless) with this problem. Is there any solution yet or do I just have to throw away this useless motherboard and buy a real one from a serious brand ?
Thanks for your answers

I most be the only one in the world that doesn't have that problem. Maybe because I run mine setup to boot to Raid array. What OS? Plus I'm on F9c and the only reason it is there I was having BSOD. Or it would still be on the bios it came with.

Hi,
I already use Raid and tried AHCI (even IDE for which I got BSOD) and it is the same. After reading your post I tried BIOS F9C and it is the same. So far I tried BIOS F5, F9C and F12. None of them works.

There is already a thread on this and you can see how mine is setup. http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=15790.0

I read it carefully but the raid workaround doesn't solve it and I use NTFS. Thanks though :)

try plugging drives into the black sata ports, not the grey ones and see if it works. I'm having this problem myself, but since I've already configured my system and I haven't felt like opening it up back again and troubleshooting. The black and grey sata ports use different controllers. It might work if you have it plugged into only the black (or only the grey) try both and let me know. Thanks
