So im excited!. I get the ga-965p-ds3. nice motherboard,its revision 1.1v but thats ok i think....
upgraded to bios F14 along with the drivers and that
I put in a pentium 4 630 scotsdale or something along with the 8800 ultra....goes well....no problems!
I want to beef it up a bit so i get the E8600 intel...the board wont even post...grrrrrrrr!
whats up?? It says on the box core duo ready! the gigabyte site says the e8600 is ok on qvl...
what am i doing wrong.....???

If you check the Cpu support list the E8600 cpu is NOT suported, :(

Your revision Is 1.1 ? :'(
Only the 3.3 revision will support it, but not officially though, ::)

bugger...you are right.....why dont they just list the cpus they do support...morons we are...
