Hi, mynew GA-MA790XT tales a long time to POST (30s - 1min) I'm on F4G BIOS with IDE mode HDD (no RAID, just 1x Vertex, 1x WD GP), I have disabled JMicron USB and serial ports as I don't need them and switched the video card to PEG. (I have single Sapphire 4350 PCIE card)
1. Is it normal for POST to take so long with this MB?
2. Is there anything I can do to speed it up?
Thanks, Tim

Got the same problem here mate,
From what I have found out, it's down to the bio's searching for and enabling USB devices :o
Disconnect some, and try,
You could check for any bios updates!
Let us know how you get on ;D
Take a look here
