Title: P55M-UD4 and Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme
Post by: Sovereign on October 14, 2009, 06:11:55 pm
Hello Fellas,
I bought a Gigabyte P55 motherboard around 3 weeks ago with an Intel i5 750. At this present moment, I have the stock heatsink that came with the cpu. Right now I am in the process of buying a 1156 bracket for the Ultra 120 Extreme, but am wondering if this heatsink WILL FIT ON THIS MOTHERBOARD considering that the PCI Express lane and the first memory dimm are very close in proximity to the cpu socket and the holes?

Thanks

Don't know the exact specs of your heatsink but it fitted a Noctua NH-U12P on my P55-UD4 and that is a fair beast of a heatsink and from memory is similar to the 120 Extreme.
