Title: GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 UEFI fails to load
Post by: projection on April 29, 2015, 03:33:16 pm
Hey people! Your help needed.
I have GA-Z68X-UD4-B3 mobo with ATI graphics card. I've just tried to update BIOS (F6 iirc) to the latest UEFI beta (http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3849#bios), using bootable USB with free DOS and FLASHEFI.EXE, and instead of booting into at least something, I'm receiving blinking cursor and then blank blue screen. Tried to reset CMOS using on-board pin, but nothing. Please help!  :'(

It turns out, that mentioned above occurred due to my graphics card. Its also gigabyte's one, but maybe it doesn't support uEFI at all... So I managed to replace it with Asus and everything works like charm now.
