Title: configuring raid array

Hi, am trying to access raid setup utility in the bios on a ga-h57m-usb 3 the manual says press ctrl - 1, when i do that i get taken to Q flash UTILITY instead would be grateful for some advice. cheers

Hi and welcome to the forum brian.
I think that you are pressing the wrong key try CTRL + l

Have tried that no joy is there a sequence have pressed ctrl and one at same time ,i dont suppose they is another way of accessing it? thanks

That is where you are going wrong! It isn't CTRL + one it is CTRL + I

That is CTRL I as I... NTEL ( INTEL )

before configure BIOS with RAID option and not IDE or AHCI

right have set up raid ok guys cheers . i have 2 wd hard drives and one intel ssd drive for windows 7 for some reason my asus sata dvd drive is not listed in the boot menu have tried new sata cable and also useing different sata ports but no joy,there is power to the drive as it does open  when the pc first starts up it does show the dvd drive.any thoughts on what i may have done wrong?

Make sure that the port that you have the DVD attached to is set to IDE not AHCI or RAID.

Maybe the drive is dead. Can you try it on another computer?
