Title: GA-Z77-DS3H memory issues
Post by: maaw on July 06, 2012, 05:36:50 pm
Hi, I have a GA-Z77-DS3H motherboard, and a set of 2x4gb Patriot 1600mhz ram sticks. Without any changes to the BIOS, system boots up fine, but memory runs at 1300mhz. Any attempts of trying to get 1600mhz will result in boot failure. I've tried manually setting latencies and several voltage changes, I've also tried both xmp and not-xmp setups, of course non of them worked. Anyone got a clue on this? Thanks in advance. Cheers, mariano
