Title: Fatal Error on PRIME 95 default voltage 2600k
Post by: zujko on September 10, 2011, 01:22:26 pm
Hi guys, i have a little problem, i wanted to see the CPU temperature, Prime95 prove fatal error on 3th core, after 1-2min.
I have latest BIOS F6, all settings on BIOS is default, cpu no OC, voltage is default..
Where is the problem? And why it throws an error if the CPU is not OC?
Temp. is ok, 51-58c, on AIDA 64..
tnx

Hi

Maybe a few more details of the build would help to throw some light on the problem.

Hi

Maybe a few more details of the build would help to throw some light on the problem.

The computer operates normally, i have no problem with computer, only, i wanted to know why it shows me an error Prime95, if the CPU is not OC. I am interested in whether it is who else has the same experiences.

Or maybe the (bug in BIOS) problem is in BIOS..
Hmm

The thing is that it shouldn't fail with an error in Prime95 whether overclocked or not. If the system is stable it should run any program with no problem. I assume that you are using the latest version of Prime and that the newest BIOS and drivers are installed on your system ?

Latest BIOS is Beta version F7a.. Official version(i have F6) is F6.. I use latest driver Intel RST 10.6.0.022..
Win7 x64
EDIT: i have disabled in BIOS, CPU EIST and other power saver option, Prime 95 run 40min. is ok now.  Maybe new(bug, or whatever) BIOS is this fixed.
