Title: Bad BIOS flash on GA-M57SLI-S4 (rev. 2.0) or was it?
Post by: 1916 on May 09, 2010, 05:59:55 pm
Just updated my Bios to the latest Beta version. All seemed to go ok but then my Windows 7 wouldn't load it came saying something like this 0x00000000x000 0x00000000x000 0x00000000x000 0x00000000x000 0x00000000x000 0x00000000x000  it was on a blue screen went to Repair and it said it wasn't able to fix the problems.

I thought at first it was the update but my version of Ubuntu on the same computer works but that is on a different H/D.

Hi,

Did you flash using @BIOS or QFlash Utility?

I would suggest removing power supply and mobo battery (for a couple of minutes) so that BIOS resets then load optimized defaults to see if that clears the problem.

If you still have issues, double check that you have correct BIOS version for your mobo and then re-flash using the QFlash utility.

Hope this helps

I did it by Qflash.

Will give it a try.

Thanks
