Title: GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3-B3 compared to GIGABYTE P67A-UD3-B3
Post by: soarwitheagles on May 28, 2011, 12:58:19 am
Hi all!

Just came here to ask for opinions on the differences between these two mobos:

GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3-B3 vs. the GIGABYTE P67A-UD3-B3.

I am presently using the GIGABYTE P67A-UD3-B3 but noticed the GIGABYTE GA-Z68A-D3-B3 on sale today for around $100.

Is it worth the upgrade?

Soar

Hi Soar

There is very little difference between the two motherboards in essence. The Z68 has the new touchscreen BIOS which is really just another software add on apart from that there are not very many improvements in fact I was surprised to see that the Z68 board sports the old parallel and seriel ports again. I thought we had seen the back of them.
