Title: Z87-HD3 Boot sequence mare
Post by: danny boiled on July 06, 2013, 11:37:33 am
Hi all. I've just taken delivery of a new i7 desktop, windows 7 gigabyte Z87-HD3.
I decided to look into full disk encryption and downloaded a trial version of jetico
bestcrypt volume encryption. This was only one of two option because of uefi/gtp.
I downloaded, installed and rebooted and here I am  :-\
Something's gone wrong and it's not compatible with something but it seems to
have plonked itself in the boot sequence and I can't seem to do anything about it.
All I get is "Reboot and Select proper boot Device". I've tried the simple things like
F12 and moving the boot sequence in set-up but it doesn't seem to make a difference!
I'm out of my comfort zone with anything bios related so please go gently with me.
Any advice will be greatly received.

Danny

Quick update. Windows has now loaded successfully. All I had to do was disable Secure Boot.
Phew. I may come back some time soon for advice on flashing the bios if it needs doing after
whats happened?
