Title: M8600 traccking problems.
Post by: Synth on December 30, 2011, 07:39:17 am
I just bought an m8600 wireless mouse and have been having some issues with it. The big problem is that it seems to have tracking issues on any surface i use it on. I have tried a variety of mouse pads and different table surfaces but its all the same. Every now and then the mouse will seem like its lagging on the screen and not moving when i move it physically. I went out and bout a new razer goliathus speed mouse mat to see if it helped having a new mouse pad but it was still the same.

Just wondering if this is a firmware issue or if the mouse is faulty because i do like the mouse a lot so i dont really want to have to get it refunded if it is only a firmware issues.

Hi  and welcome.

Well you could always just have the mouse replaced rather than refunded anyway if you do like it.

It would sound like a driver or firmware issue to be honest. Try updating both to the latest versions and see what the outcome is. Maybe even flashing the motherboard's BIOS might help.
