Title: Did bios flash really make difference on 960 video card?

I ran the new Final Fantasy benchmark 3 times and scored around 7030. I flashed bios on my card and I did not change any settings. Made sure control panel settings for card were the same as before flash. Scored jumped to 8005. Is this just a glitch or does anybody possibly know why it shows it's faster?
