HI!
I was wondering if is it possibly to have 1 Gb onboard Video through a BIOS update, for 890GPA-UD3H Ver 2.1 motherboard?
It would be awsome, in order no to buy an external video card. ;D

Hi there,
What you're asking for seems like a good idea.
You could ask Gigabyte via a support ticket here: http://ggts.gigabyte.com/tech.asp?ClassID=2&Country=Argentina&SourceWeb=B2C and see if it is possible.

Thanks Absic for your support and help.
I´ve completed the form.
I´ll post it when they answer.

Finally, this is their answer:
"You can not change it because the opening is dependent on the graphics chipset.
Remember that video memory is to handle higher resolutions.
I invite you to visit the link below for you to see the full procedure either through BIOS or Qflash @ which are the tools we have to update the BIOS:

To download your latest BIOS, visit the following link:

I´ts really a shame, not only for the motherboard, but also to my pocket ;D

Hi Again,
thanks for letting us know the outcome and it is a shame that your idea can't be implemented through BIOS, as you had hoped. :'(
Still, on the bright side, you can now think about saving for a future upgrade! :P
