Title: HT Link Frequency GA-MA770T-UD3P

My motherboard is GA-MA770T-UD3P with X6 1090T. When i increasing NB-CPU to  2.6GHz (2600mhz) the HT Frequency will be also 2.6GHz. I heard the HT should be around 2GHz in many other forums.

The 1090T is a black edition processor if you just change the multiplier you can overclock it. Now if your motherboard doesnt let you just change the multiplier then you have to overclock it the way you are and yes it will change the HT also. That is the advantage of just OC using the multiplier on black edition processors.

The other way is for locked processors, but i have had a board or two that the bios didnt let you change the multiplier so i had to do it the way you are it puts more stress on everything else including your ram. If you look your ram should now be overclocked also. 2000 is what i keep mine at for HT. but i changed the multiplier to 18 for a clock of 3.6

I overclocking with CPU multiplier and NB-CPU because NB-CPU will also increase performance. But when i increasing NB-CPU to 2600MHz the HT will be also 2600MHz. I want the HT stay at 2000MHz.

Do i take 2 GHZ as HT Frequency in the bios?

Yes that is correct and should keep it at 2000. Also seeing as i never did it that way let me know if it works at 2000. I always used multiplier or HT to oc with.  The main thing i didnt like about using that way to overclock was it would raise you ram also so you have to turn down ram to get a stable overclock.
