Title: GA-970a-D3 rev 1.4 flashing backup bios for cpu upgrade.
Post by: Hexxer151 on January 07, 2016, 06:56:53 am
Hi,
I have an GA-970A-D3 (rev 1.4) motherboard with a PhenomIIx4 965 3.4ghz. I want to upgrade to a FX-8350 4.0ghz. I checked for support on the Gigabyte website and i need to update my bios to F11. So I updated with the newest version F12 which was successful. Checked my bios and it states the Main:F12 and Backup:F10 (original). Checked regedit for verson running and it's F10. How do I flash the Backup to F12. I saved the origional F10 to a flashdrive in FAT32 all by itself. Any help is MUCH appreciated.
