Title: New case and PS with no video
Post by: erooker on October 23, 2012, 01:50:09 am
Ijust changed the SP and case and now there is no video.  Its a x58-OC with 990X 24gigs 1600 ram 2x 2GB 560TI video cards.  Can some one please help?  I have cleared the CMOS and put in a known good video card and still no video.  The debug code on mobo is FF as it should be.

Hi and welcome.

My initial reaction would be that you haven't connected all the power cables up properly. Make sure that you have the 24 pin and 8 pin to the motherboard and the 8 and 6 pin to the graphics card. If all those are secure then maybe the PSU is faulty. Can you list all your hardware that you have in your system by make and model please and make sure that it is correct.

All of the parts have been pulled from a working computer.  The case and the power supply are the only this different.  This is the second ps and both are brand new.  I have checked the power connects to the mobo and video cards.  Anything of the wall to try?
