Title: New GIGABYTE GA-Z77X-UD5H Dead SATA2 Port 3
Post by: Govnah on October 26, 2012, 02:13:46 am
I have swapped SATA cables and hard drives and nothing will show up in the BIOS or OS. The BIOS sees the SATA2  port3  just fine and the OS via the Intel RST manager but nothing is ever detected. Is there a setting I am missing or do I have a defective MB?

Thanks

Hi and welcome.

As far as I can see if you have installed all the chipset drivers and the cables and drives you have tried have been all ok then it must be a faulty motherboard.
