Title: Unable to Boot - Stuck on step 23

I am having an issue booting any of my hard drives. I am using a gigabite GA-H55 with an i7.

While booting the screen gets stuck on step 23 and dose not move. The last thing to be displayed is:

Controller Bus#00, Device#1F, Function#02: 06 Ports, 02 Devices

Any ideas or is more information required?

Hi there,

Is this a new build or has the problem just appeared after using the PC for a while?

It could be a problem with your SATA settings. Are you trying to run in AHCI or IDE Mode?
If you are running in AHCI Mode try removing any DVD/CD drives from the system and see if it will then BOOT up.

It might also be worthwhile running MemTest, just to make sure you don't have any faulty RAM.
