Title: The new ipad 4 charging problem
Post by: hazlad24 on November 08, 2012, 09:17:52 am
Hi, my ipad 2 would charger up when plugged into the red usb ports when the pc was on and even after I shut it down, but now I have upgraded to the new ipad 4 which i know is more powerful but I think has the same batteries or very similar to the ipad 2/3.

What is the max power you can draw from the red ports? I tried the usb 3 ports too but same problem, it shows it as charging but it wont go any higer and over time it drops by a percentage.

My board is the z77x-ud5h

thanks

Also just found out the charger I got with this new ipad is a 12w but the old one was a 10W.
