Title: Gi Sniper M3 Rev 1.0 Which Buss to use

Hi all

Does anyone know which is best buss to use the OCZ Revo drive 3 card in on this MB.

The card is a PCIE 4 type card and the bus for this is run from the Z77 chip.

It will also fit in the PCIE 8 or 16 which is run directly from the CPU.
So which is best Buss to run this card.

I will not be fitting any graphics card or other HDD's at all might add a HDD later

The 240 Gb Revodrive 3 card is large enough for my use.

Hi

I too have a Revodrive from OCZ that I use as a boot drive. Mine is the Revo2 though so slightly different to yours but I suspect still much the same. I first used it on an GA-X58A-UD7 motherboard and could only get it to work properly in the X8 slot at the bottom which actually worked out better for me anyway.

I have tried it in the G1.Sniper M3 too and it seemed to work fine but I didn't leave it in there. I would sugest using the top PCIEx16 slot if you are not using a discrete graphics card, if not try the bottom x8 slot instead.
