Is anyone using 4 dimms with the ga ex58 -ud5? It says in the manual that you can use triple channel with 4 dimms if you insert them in slots 1,2,3 & 5. I want to install 16gb so I'd like to know if anyone has tested this and how stable it is.
Thanks

Hi
I haven't tried using four DIMMs but I have the UD7 motherboard and have used three and six sticks with no problem what so ever. I can't see any reason why using four DIMMS would be troublesome as long as they were in the correct slots.
You might have to increase the DRAM voltage though to compensate for the extra loading of the memory controller.
