Title: GT520 or GT610?
Post by: namecaf on November 19, 2012, 07:18:54 am
Hi, I'm looking for a cheap, low-profile graphics card with HDMI for a NAS/Media Player and from post I've read, the GT520 was the one most recommended. However I'm having a bit of trouble finding that model at a reasonable price near me. I've seen a few GT610s that are pretty reasonably priced though which led me to have a look online and compare them - and it seems like they both have exactly the same specs... but shouldn't the newer version of the GT520 be the "GT620" not the "GT610"? Bit confusing. To make matters worse, Gigabyte's own website shows the GT620 as having lower specs than the GT610! Anyone care the comment?

I would go off the link you have sometimes things just dont make sense as you mentioned the higher number card even takes a larger PSU requirement.
