Title: enable HDMI ga-f2a55m-hd
Post by: dataz722 on December 01, 2012, 07:29:12 pm
I just put together a HTC using the ga-f2a55m-hd board and an AMD FM2 a6 chip running on windows 7 64.  Everything is working fine except I can't get a signal or it to even recognize anything connected to the onboard HDMI.  VGA works fine and I have no way of checking the DVI.  I know the hdmi cord and everything are fine because they work with other devices with no problem.

I am assuming that HDMI needs to be enabled or that I need to disable dvi.  I just can't find that anywhere.  It isn't in bios and I can't find it anywhere in windows.  I have updated bios and all the drivers multiple times and i have spent hours messing with it and searching the web.

Please help.

Thanks.

And out of desperation and grasping at straws I just took the PC into another room and hooked it to a different computer via HDMI and it displayed perfectly.

The TV I originally had it hooked to has never had a problem when I had another PC hooked to it so now I am even more clueless.
