Hello,
recently I bought a new SSD drive OCZ Vertex 4 256 GB. I am using the configuration described below.I decided to install Windows 8 on it but the issue is that it freezes unexpectedly. Sometime after 5 minutes sometimes after 1-2 hours of time. It does not matter on the activity(browsing, gaming, idle, office works...) Hard reset is sometimes not enough(had to power off). Windows 7 however, is working well on the same system and drive. Windows 8 was up to date, with all patches and drivers installed. I am using also newest BETA BIOS that should support Windows 8.
My PC speciffications:
Core i7 3770K 3,5 GHz
GA-Z77X-UD3H with F19e BIOS
16 GB 1333 MHz RAM Corsair
OCZ Vertex 4 256 GB with 1.5 drivers(up to date)
Saphire Radeon DH 7870 with latest AMD catalyst driver
Any advice here? For more information feel free to ask here.
Thank you

Fixed !
The PCI network card TL-WN851ND was causing the problem. I removed it and it is working now for approx 2 hours yet. I will be monitoring the situation but as for now it seems that is has been solved.
For anyone still having some issues with windows 8 freeze issue you should reconsider removing such adapter or wait for the driver update from your vendor.
