Can I ask a silly question?
Are you sure you installed 64 bit? I only asked because once I grabbed the wrong disk.
Duh.....

Power the system off, pull out your ram, plug them back in. I had to do this exact same thing on a laptop the other day for the same reason. Worked like a charm - they looked seated properly but the motherboard didn't agree!

Will give this a shot.
I read somewhere about reinstalling Windows but deleting the partition, just did that and hasnt worked.

After extensive testing with both sockets of Ram,
checking the CPU connector for bend pins and the ram its self.
The conclusion is that the 2nd ram slot is damaged.
Does anyone know how i check the warranty of the motherboard?
