Hello,
First post here but active elsewhere. I have a GA-990FXA-UD3 with a Phenom II X6 1100T and recently bought some G.Skill Area Series, 8GBx2 @ 1866MHz. I either can't find the right place in the BIOS to activate XMP, or don't know the sequence to get XMP. Any help would be cool... ???

with that processor and motherboard combo there isnt any. If anything you can go into bios and set your timings and voltage manually it will run 1600 and 2T i usually set it to unganged first and download CPU-Z to check how i set my timings. download link below.

This is from your ram/// Intel XMP support for 2nd and 3rd Generation Intel Core Processors
you are using an amd setup so no XMP
From gigabyts site//// (Note 2) To support a DDR3 1866 MHz (and above) memory, you must install an AMD AM3+ CPU first.
Phenom II X6 1100T is a AM3 chip

I have an FX-8320 and have the same memory. What is the best way to make it run at 1866? Thanks in advance.
