Title: G1 Sniper M3 Motherboard and Corsair memory compatibility
Post by: LaRocK on December 26, 2012, 11:52:15 am
Hi

New to the forum and a long term asus user for motherboards but am ready to build with a gigabyte board as I think it's time for a change. I am looking to build an i7 based system (3370 Ivybridge 3.4g processor) on the Sniper M3 motherboard with a corsair 850w psu, GTX 680 gfx, Corsair H80 cpu cooler. It will mainly be used as a gaming rig.

I have checked the memory compatibility info for the board and don't see the sticks I was planning to use. Can anyone advise it these are suitable for the board and will I be able to run them at their rated speed in bios settings?

Thanks

Should be no problem.
